Super User Jig Man Posted December 8, 2015 Super User Posted December 8, 2015 Nice. Did you pour the plastic as well as the heads? Quote
cadman Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Nice looking jigs. I like the clean paint job. What mold is that? Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted December 8, 2015 Super User Posted December 8, 2015 Nicer looking jigs. I like the clean paint job. What mold is that? That is the Bat Jig mold, it uses the wacky hooks from Do-it as well as the wire keeper. Quote
Molay1292 Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 Nice. Did you pour the plastic as well as the heads? Yes, it is a mold I purchased over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Quote
Molay1292 Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 Nicer looking jigs. I like the clean paint job. What mold is that? As Smalljaw said it is the Do-It Bat Wing mold. It is a little hard to pour because of the small size of the jigs. Requires very clean/soft lead, you can see on several of the heads where the collar did not form completely. The collar does not effect the performance but does add additional support for the wire keeper. Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted December 8, 2015 Super User Posted December 8, 2015 those look great! Quote
Jake the Cake Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 I love the bait holders on there. You put a fiber weed guard on there and you've got a customer for life!!!! Seriously though, 1/16 and 1/8 painted crappie jigs with a fiber weed guard AND a quality bait holder is impossible to find. Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted December 9, 2015 Super User Posted December 9, 2015 Nice Crappie Jigs!I know a couple Crappie fishermen that have caught +10 pound bass on Crappie Jigs in the some of the spots I fish. Quote
