I haven´t "amassed" a collection of jigs, I pretty much purchase them in bulk and 90% of them are black; I´m lucky if at the end of the day the jig that´s tied to my rod is the one I used to start the day, on a regular day I may loose 2-3 jigs due to hang ups..... if you ain´t throwing them where they can hang up you aren´t throwing them where you´ll catch something.

I agree. I buy my jigs 50 at a time and just a few patterns. When the pike are active, I could easily burn thru 10 in a day

It's all good man, I'm just giving you a hard time.  If you saw one of my jig boxes, you would understand.

Mine looked like that at one time, now they are more less in ziplock bags, the bottom or in a pouch of the soft pack I carry when I fish, or scattered about in my trunck....lol  but a few still in the "jigbox".  just not enough to know it's a jigbox.

I will try to post some pics by weeks end of early next week. It should be worth the wait for the jig guys. Waiting on some more to get here.

I do what the others have already mentioned. Buy different weights and head shapes in bulk then order a bunch of skirts. It gives me something to do for a couple hours. This was from the last big order I made. I'll restock over the winter and get more football heads.

I have 3 3700 boxes packed full of jigs. It looks like a big tangle of hooks, skirt, and weedguards. There is no way I'm taking them all out to take a picture though.

I really don't amass large quantities of jigs. I make 'em over the winter and lose 'em during bass fishing season.

These are the boat jigs that always make the tourney or trip or day on the water. I have a few boxes with extra jigs that I'll use to replenish this one as needed. Most are homemade, others are Hack Attacks. The color I have the most of and use the most is Seiberts Sweet Craw skirt.post-25267-0-95136200-1449618975_thumb.j

My answer as well because like someone mentioned if you are not losing them your not fishing in the right places.

I make jigs so I usually have between 300 - 600 on hand at any given time.  Just poured 500 heads in the last 2 days so they'll be jigs within a few days as well

Are you selling them on here? I would like to buy a few if so.

Here is my latest run...about 70 jigs. All jigs are either 3/8 or 1/2 and all heads are brush style. Too many colors to list but I would say probably well over 30 different colors though it would be hard to tell from the photo. These will be given as gifts to friends and few kept as well. Heads courtesy of Siebert Outdoors and skirts are Siebert, Boss, Dirty Jigs, and a few Do It.

The collection itself is about 20 of the 3700 series boxes filled full of jigs. Never counted them but once winter sets in for good I will probably post more photos from the collection.

This is the box I throw in the kayak, where space is at a premium.   Most of these jigs are homemade and are a small fraction of all the jigs I have.
