Steven Ladner Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 After a few layers of clear coat, they're finally finished. It's kind of hard to see the detail because of the flash of the camera reflected off the foil so much. The crappie turned out well and the threadfin shad changes colors when moved in the light (you might be able to see it in the pictures). Overall, I like the results and think I'm going to try some other fish patterns. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted March 2, 2010 Super User Posted March 2, 2010 they look good. did you get the foil on each side of the back and belly to match up or did you paint them? Quote
Steven Ladner Posted March 2, 2010 Author Posted March 2, 2010 they look good. did you get the foil on each side of the back and belly to match up or did you paint them? Thanks. Each bait was foiled entirely. The only paint used was where I airbrushed the top of the lipless bait. The ends didn't meet on the back of it, so I ended up shooting black along it. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted March 2, 2010 Super User Posted March 2, 2010 oh thats good. i can never make the ends meet. i don't know how some people do it. Quote

Super User Gone_Phishin Posted March 3, 2010 Super User Posted March 3, 2010 Very cool. I think purple was the first color in which I gained confidence...and it's still my #1. Quote
