Hey everyone,

I have a quick question if you fellas with experience dont mind helping.  Im looking to upgrade the spool in my scorpion xt1000 and the avail microcast spool will fit the bill.  On the website it says all you have to do is drop it in and you are good to go. Does the spool come with a bearing on it or would i have to buy a set/use the one on my other spool? I have searched and searched and havent found an answer to this question. Thanks for everything guys!

Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource

Though not positive - It looks like you'll need the bearing(s).

There is no bearing on any of the XT1000, or any of the Curado/Chronarch 50E spools. So yes, it just drops right in. You'll just need to install 4 brake pipes. Brian.

Do right and left hand reels use the same spool? Not sure if the specs are different for right and left models
