First year and I have been using Maxima Ultra Green, 15lb mono.  Seems to be working fine for all applications, cranks, top, and spinners.

Am i wrong here?

Big Game for almost all baitcasting applications, Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Cabela's house brand mono for spinning.

Bass sunline structure f.c. for worms and jigs. Big game 12 15 or 20 for everything else. Braid for frogs. Have braid on my c rig rod right now. I like it so far. With big game leader

I use monofilament fluorocarbon line for some presentations when I want stiff, stretch, and fast sinking characteristics, monofilament nylon line for some presentations for more flexible, stretch, and less dense characteristics, and braided superline for most presentations for small diameter with strength and little/no memory.

I use a combo of braided superline and monofilament fluorocarbon leader also.

I used to use some monofilament co-polymer lines too, but pretty much use braids for those situations now.

Nope. Whatever works for you. I use a Green colored mono in 12-15 for all moving bait applications as well.
