MidwestF1sh Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Those are pretty cool! As far as where you would get it, not a clue. Maybe google search whatever the writing on the back of the lure spells. Quote

Super User bigbill Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 Ebay just ordered three. Search Thailand jumg lures. $11 to $14 each. Quote

Super User bigbill Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 One video they caught a 5lb snake head. Interesting lure I think it can be tweeked better. For a slower presentation. Thanks freelancer27. Fishing the same small bodies of water in the exact same spots every year what's hot this year bait wise isn't as hot next year. I thought the places were fished out then I started throwing different baits and the bite was back. It pays to try new baits. Now I learned to use a little of everything instead of hammering just one bait. 1 Quote

Super User MIbassyaker Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 Haha, that's pretty cool. However: Is there such a thing as a lure that won't catch bass? Seriously, is there? I do not know of any. I mean, I am not aware of any lure design ever created, anywhere, by anyone, that will not catch bass, at least some of the time. Sure, some lures and presentations work better than others, in particular situations. But Bass are notoriously aggressive, voracious, territorial, and curious...I am convinced they are capable of striking literally anything given the right circumstances. In just the last few months, BR members have posted here evidence of bass caught on gummy worms, wrenches, twizzlers, and bacon: So, to your first question, "would it work for bass", the answer is almost certainly "yes". And so would pretty much anything else, I wager. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 I think its a cool looking action , It jumps up and down . Quote
freelancer27 Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 I have a friend that lives in Thailand. Maybe I can ask him to send some over here. Paying 24 USD on amazon is a bit too much for this thing. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 I could post a list of lures that didn't work for me but it could be I used them from shore. Maybe in deeper water than ten feet they would work. Mainly six crankbaits that caught nothing. I benched them only to return them to the line up. I do rotate my baits everyone in the pool. This topwater flyer looks good. Need to slow it down though. Quote

Super User bigbill Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 No one mentioned these are weedless too that's a big factor besides it jumping action I think a lot of good innovative stuff is going to come from the far east. Quote

Super User bigbill Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 Look at some of the lures that are being offered weed thru the junk. Some of the topwater stuff looks good. Quote
evilcatfish Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Check out 7 Seas Pro Shop. Cool baits and good prices. I've ordered from them before and my orders are usually in MO in 5-7 business days Quote
Fisher-O-men Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Based on what they caught in the video, what would lead you to believe it would work? Buzz bait seems better, with a proven track record. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted December 1, 2015 Super User Posted December 1, 2015 IDK but I get to cast something that's different. I get to fool them all over again. This lure seems more aggressive than a Buzzbait. Quote
rboat Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Bigbill, please let us know how this works. It looks very cool. Quote
