Lake Monticello Arkansas

Have any of you guys fished this lake before? I have always heard it's one of the best lakes in the state of arkansas to catch big bass due to the fact that that it has florida strain bass in it. I am moving back to arkansas soon and i think this lake will be my first destination.

Have you ever fished around Lake Providence? I passed by it a few times on road trips.

Private Lake community. 350 acres. Bass size declining. $500k 5 year plan plan started 2015. Removed 1100 bass under 15" so far and need to remove more (relocated, none destroyed). Added 7500 large bluegill. Added alot of artificial structure. All volunteer work. We will see

Man i am glad to hear that a plan has been put in place to better the fishing. My home lake is in need of a plan like that. It is overpopulated with bass. Most of them are small. I caught a 5 pounder earlier this year and it was a big thing because that lake doesn't have many big ones. How far is your lake from blacksburg?

No kidding.  The police do not mess around here  I haven;t made it that far east yet, but it is on my todo list.
