I've had my first child. And words can't describe how I feel. Fishing will definitely take a backseat to my newborn baby girl.

Big congrats on you and your wife. I trust moms doing well?

Its a great feeling, puts things in perspective really quick. My daughter is 13. Something special about bond with dad and daughters.

I highly recommend reading the book  Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters by Meg Meeker.  There role dad's play in the life of their daughters can't be minimized.

Congrats! Enjoy it while it last because it flies by. Seems like we just brought our son home but he'll be 2 in 2 weeks.

Time will fly by and before you have time to think about it, she will be graduating from high school and then off to college so cherish every minute you have with her.
