Quick question for you all. Am I better off hoping they do their deal on the gift cards again this year and then wait until the next sale, guessing Memorial Day vs taking advantage of the Black Friday sale? Fishing funds are very limited this year, but am hoping for a little extra at Christmas too that will also help out with the next order.

I am pretty sure waiting is the best idea, but the sale right now is hard to ignore lol.

Our sponcers are offering some great deals. I try to buy even if it's a small order.

Bizzbaits 30% off plus free shipping on $50+ orders. That's better than a happy meal even with the toy. There sassy sticks are priced right.

Sieberts outdoors quality jigs.

It is hard to beat TW for your one stop shoping simply put the inventory, price, color options are as great and diverse as one can find. They only have 20% off for their BF sale. All other sales are either 10-15% off. From my understanding you can buy a gift card and then use it later for one of their sales. That should give you about 20-25% off so it should be as good or better than what you have now. Perhaps their policy has changed on redeeming gift cards around the holidays but it should still work from my understanding.

Are you looking on getting anything particular or just sort of restocking on a wide range of items?

I'd guess if you waited you could get 25% off combined. So an extra 5%.

Listen to bigbill! If you want soft plastics they're 30% off at bizzbaits. That's probably cheaper than you're ever going to find soft plastics.

You aren't going to be able to use any of it for another 4-5 months anyway so just wait it out if money is a concern. There's plenty of TW sales gong on between now and memorial day but I believe you will have to wait until memorial day for another 20% off. The other 3-4 in between now and then are around 15% i think.

Their Memorial and Labor Day sales have been 15% for a few years now per a Google Images search.

You technically would be better off...if they do the gift card deal again, then wait for another 20% off sale. The waiting is what's hard to do. :)

Thanks everyone for the replies. I have always done a mix of smaller companies and TW. But this year I am truly in restock mode on variety of items I know produce and maybe pick up a small handful of proper swim jig trailers. Once I get the kid through college I can be a little less picky and pick up a bunch of new stuff to try:)

As far as soft plastics go I am trying to keep the bait monkey in check there, I will at least keep myself from buying finesse worms, well unless they start to carry a certain color again lol. About the only soft plastics I am woefully short on are Zman baits. I need to stock up on some more options, they have done well enough for me this year that I want to try out more and local baitshops don't carry them.

Thanks again, now we will have to see if I can actually stand the wait!

It's like putting money in the bank?

Like paying only $2.00 a gallon for gas when you know it's $5 by spring. Save now or pay more later.

I believe they did the gift cards in December right before the 25 days of Christmas sale. I am pretty sure it was 10% off gift cards. My wife got me one last year to get some swim jigs I knew would be on sale during the 25 days sale.

I do think they do it for then.  Everything I thought about looking to get 20% off is excluded so I've caged the bait monkey for now.

The only thing that isn't 20% off is Megabass if you call (monkey made me tell you)...

I'm good.  I spent over $1800 (would have been close to $3000 but I found some great deals on them still NIB) in the last 3 months on a couple new rods and almost a complete set of new reels....and I mean a dozen of them by a "set".  My bait monkey is grounded for now and isn't allowed to talk to other bait monkeys.....lol  But thanks.
