Super User bigbill Posted November 28, 2015 Super User Posted November 28, 2015 These sales are taking me off the 1/4 pounder menu back to the dollar menu. If it keeps up ill be on George Forman p&j toasted sandwiches. But I'll be fishing for free come springtime. Booya Shop smart fellow BR Brothers. This keeps me fishing. 1 Quote

68camaro Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 McDonalds killed the dollar menu anyways. It's coming back, they replaced it with value menu which was a failure. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted November 28, 2015 Super User Posted November 28, 2015 It's coming back, they replaced it with value menu which was a failure. You'd be better off just eating the dollar. A-Jay 2 Quote
68camaro Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 You'd be better off just eating the dollar. A-Jay Dollar menu option.jpg No doubt. McDonalds has no to negative growth in same store category for awhile. We have an 18 and 13 year old and neither them nor there friends eat fast food or have, Chick fil A and Chipolte are favorites. I think tastes are changing and younger generations are more health conscoius. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted November 28, 2015 Author Super User Posted November 28, 2015 I'm just kidding. I'm ok money wise. To continue to fish it helps to spread the wealth and keep it affordable. Plus our sponcers keep supporting this sight For us. Without them we'd be pay for view think about it. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted November 28, 2015 Author Super User Posted November 28, 2015 Sell your bigfoot pics and locks of hair. Problem solved.I wish I had Bigfoot pics. Time to buy a good camera and get good pics not fuzzy ones. My famous bacon cheeseburgers with fried onions between a grill cheese does lure him in. I hate sharing my viddles but I'm going to have too. The screams make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I open all the vents on the camp trailer so the cheeseburger/bacon smell goes up and over the mountain. The BFRO GUYS got the frying bacon idea from me when I contacted them. If ya look at my pic I have no neck I hope the Bigfoot gals don't think I'm there long lost cousin and available? I don't like hairy arm pits and legs. Lmao 1 Quote
Missourifishin Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I've often showed poor self-control, including when I find a deal on fishing gear. But remembering I have bills due in the next week or 2 that won't get paid if I spent even 1/4 of what I'd like to tends to help me with the self-control a little. Plus I know there is nothing I truly NEED right now, so that helps too. It did hurt to pass up some of those deals. I need to do some financial planning built around black friday fishing sales for next year 1 Quote
Super User bigbill Posted November 29, 2015 Author Super User Posted November 29, 2015 I just wrapped up my Christmas shopping. Everyone will be fishing this year with c-rigs and Bizzbaits and Sieberts jigs. 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted November 29, 2015 Super User Posted November 29, 2015 Spread it out. I buy in bulk. I can get discounts year round by doing this. 2 Quote
Missourifishin Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Spread it out. I buy in bulk. I can get discounts year round by doing this. Oh, I find discounts on gear year round too. But black Friday is a very tempting time since there are sales EVERYWHERE. You have a ton of choices of different things at discounted prices that day. I guess the worst part is just seeing all the rest of the guys here posting their new stuff this time of year, when I happen to be broker than usual I didn't get to do much, if any, fishing gear last year either because I had to spend my extra cash on a tv.
