BassnChris Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 We watch/record 2 episodes a day during the week......lots of repeats obviously......but good tv to watch. My 12yr old son started watching it last year in school.......at least 1 teacher is trying to teach the good morals/ethics. It did my heart good for my son to sit down and watch it as a family! Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted November 26, 2015 Super User Posted November 26, 2015 I don't know, but I miss those days gone by of America... Happy thanksgiving fellas. 2 Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted November 26, 2015 Super User Posted November 26, 2015 Things were a lot more simple back then. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted November 26, 2015 Super User Posted November 26, 2015 I think Rafe Hollister is married, too. Quote
Big C Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Ernest T. Bass also gets married. And I think if he stopped throwing rocks through windows, it lasted. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted November 27, 2015 Super User Posted November 27, 2015 Good clean TV shows. The 50's, the 60' were innocent. Some of the 70's was ok. I grew up in a small town in Jersey. Till ten yo. Twenty minutes from the city. Like Mayberry spmetimes in the fifties. Quote
dave Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 One of my all time favorites. I watch it every night on ME TV. I have seen every episode. Watched it straight though on Netflix one year. While Floyd has a son, no mention of being married. Both mayors were married. I do see you point however. Quote
mrmacwvu1 Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Think about this Don Knotts was supposed to be the straight man in this show and Andy the goofball. Half way through the first eppisode Andy told the directors that there was no way that he could keep up with Don's comedic genious. Therefore they redid the pilot and the rest shall we say is history. Can you imagine how different of a show that would have been. Quote
GLADES Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I was going to say Floyd's hair "tonic". Quote
Super User senile1 Posted November 30, 2015 Super User Posted November 30, 2015 Could this be the answer? It's a fictional television show. 1 Quote
