Super User Bankbeater Posted February 18, 2010 Super User Posted February 18, 2010 Anyone ever use fingernail polish for a quick touch up job? I have heard this from several people and I was wondering if it really worked or not. Quote
tholmes Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 I've used it in a pinch. Fingernail polish is (or used to be) lacquer. It will seal small chips and cracks effectively. It's also pretty brittle and will chip if you bang the lure against rocks and such, but on the small areas you'll be using it on, that's not much of an issue. Tom Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted February 18, 2010 Super User Posted February 18, 2010 I've raided my wife's nail polish many times for touch-up work. It's a good temporary fix. Falcon Quote
