I need three additional reels for next year. I'm a Lews fan.

I'm looking at the Team Lite and Magnesium which I own already but I'd like some feedback on the G2 before I make a final decision. Feedback would be appreciated.

Not a thing wrong with the Mag it's an amazing reel. I just want to explore the G2 as another possibility.

I was looking forward to reading some reviews of the new TP.  I chickened out and bought another one of the old models.  They're getting cheaper... I got mine for $154.  (Just before Cabela's had them on sale for $119!)

Tight lines,

I got one for $135 at a local shop back in October. Almost too smooth!

Smaller LFS frame and 1/2oz lighter.  I want one!

I just snagged one more of the older models from Cabela's at $119.

I'm old enough to know that a lot of "new and improved" versions of my favorites things are actually inferior; usually the result of a redesign that's cheaper for the manufacturer to produce.  That's not always the case, but when I see a product I really like getting redesigned, I like to play it safe and stock up on originals!

Tight lines,

I grabbed one of the TP from Cabela's as well. Probably should have bought two for that price!
