darn, no Crank Rip Twitch variants on sale. I was really banking on that..

Does anyone know how similar the 7' MH/MF Buzz, Spinner, Chatter rods is? Seems like all the specs are the same except the minimum line weight is 12lb instead of the CRT's 10. I use 12lb anyway.

I'm bummed. :snooty:

Everyone should check out the new magnesium sweet looking rod with NFC blank and Winn grips.

I'll let you know when mine shows up...   ;)  I just ordered one, plus a 7'3" HMF.

If you have any questions about the rods, I'd give them a call.  The first time I bought rods from them, I called and Trey answered the phone.  He chatted as long as I wanted about the rods.

Tight lines,

Bob

Lime green win gripe and accents make it a deal breaker for most folks that don't like bold colored rods or blanks.

I shot them an email today but still waiting for a response. I have a hard time seeing what could possibly be different about them.

So it looks like they've moved the Mag up to the original price point of the KLX, the KLX also started out only available online through Kistler.  IMO, the NFC blank is definitely an upgrade for the Magnesium line.  I also noticed they are bringing the Argon back.  The originals were great rods.

I've owned both. Couldn't tell a lick of difference. I think they're the same rod.

I'm still waiting for a response from Kistler. My OCD meter will be overloaded when throwing cranks with a Blade, Buzz, Chatter rod. Thanks though man, you've helped me out a ton over these last few weeks.

No problems. I live with a family member who has OCD so I try to be informed and understanding. It's a very real thing on many different levels. Look at this way, either way you'll have a very universal rod. I really like the Klx rods but the one thing I could do without on most any rod are the technique labels.

Have to agree--Love my Kistler's but the Lime green grips and wraps are a deal killer for me--hate it because I was waiting to see the new line Of  American made Mags but I am not a fan of Lime Green--JMO :cry3:

Just an FYI. Those Winn grips are fairly simple to remove. Buy a full length grip like these should have had in the 1st place, ream it, slap some epoxy on the blank, and slip it in. Oops, I mean slip it on
