What is your favorite rod blank for flipping i want about a 7'6'' to 8' rod with a xtra heavy power and moderate action I am going to have the rod made by Delaware valley tackle probably. anyone use them?

Also I have about 150-180 dollars to spend on the rod thanks

As a custom rod builder.... :)

If your having the rod built by Delaware Valley Tackle, why not ask them what blank they recommend for the rod your having them build...

the MHX is what he said he said he likes them over the st croix and lamiglass im just trying to get everyone opinion

Just to clarify: IMO the MHX blank is a great value, and I've built on them for my personal use. I don't necessarily prefer them over all other brands, I just think they are well worth considering.  :)

I purchased two MHX blanks, and they will be my first to build on. I will say I went to them due to the feed back, they put up some good numbers, so I wanted to try'em and can't wait for finish product, in between my schedule ::o
