I have been looking to get two new spinning reels at the 80-100 dollar price point and have the Pflueger supreme, Supreme MGX, and President Limited Edition in mind. Wanted to know of any people experiences with these as I know the Supremes were just revamped this year. Any info on which is best would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have the ones you listed but I do have the Supreme XT. Ordered it from Walmart for $107 and some change. I really don't think you can go wrong with any Pflueger reels.

I really have a hard time going above the regular President anymore unless I need a higher speed reel. Spend $60 and have the extra to spend on line or baits.

For $100 I don't think you can go wrong with the ones you listed but I do think you need to add the Symetre to your list. I would take your rod to a local tackle store and see which balances the best with the rod you have.

Symmetrys are great reels for a $100. And there happens to be a nice one for sale on the market right now for a good price. Definitely worth a look.

Pflueger all day for under $100. Really any of their reels are great. It's the only spinning reel brand I buy anymore because of the bang you get for the buck.

I have all the reels listed and they all are a great deal. The presidents are great I have 4 of them and only one has given me a problem. The spool broke, but they sent me another one while I used the spare in the meantime. I have supremes as well, I just bought a supreme mgx last week and haven't used it yet(got it for $80 on clearance at ganders) but the regular supreme and xt are both great reels as well that I have. Pflueger is a brand that when it comes to spinning reels you really can't go wrong.

If I were you I would just get a regular president and spend the extra on tackle or get a supreme over the limited edition president for the better drag system.

At that price point I would get the new Daiwa Fuego reel. But I love my Orra Sx reels.

Like said any of those options would be great reels. I have the Supreme, Supreme XT (which is an amazing reel if you can get it), the new President Limited Edition, and the normal President. They're all fantastic reels and you won't be disappointed with whatever one you choose to get.

Im another supporter of the pfuegers and especially the supremes. I use supremes on bass rods and trions on my panfish and crappie rods.

I actually own 2 of the president reels. They're ok, but both of mine had the same problems after couple months of use. The bail wouldn't click and would flip when I try to make a cast. I don't really use them much anymore. On eBay, you can buy a Shimano Saros for around $110-115. I have this reel on my Avid X and its my go to Rod. The drag is butter smooth :).. I seen some Quantum Exo PT spinning reels on sale for $100. Look around online some stores have great Black Friday deals

OKUMA Expitor spinning reel.

I use the fin-nor ahab lite but it's no longer offered. I like these spinning reels too. I use the Okums metaliod spinning reel too and that's discontinued too. Awesome reels.

I also think you can't go wrong with any of the Pfleuger reels, but check out the new Daiwa Fuego spinning reel. I got mine about a month ago, and it is an amazing reel.

I have two of the presidents.  With those reels you get a lot of bang for your buck.
