Rumble Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Was wondering if anyone on here as ever used one of these before... found it online and watched a few videos of it on the water but would like an opinion from someone who owns or has tried one. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted November 20, 2015 Super User Posted November 20, 2015 There's been a couple recent conversations on that "interesting" boat - follow these links: Check This Thing Out Ultraskiff 360 Quote
zachb34 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 As said above, there's been 2 or 3 topics on this forum, but I don't think any members have actually made the purchase. Guinea pig maybe? Quote
WPCfishing Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I just watched the you tube video of this thing. It's not something I would consider buying. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted November 23, 2015 Global Moderator Posted November 23, 2015 Seems really expensive to me for what it is and with it always being windy around here, I can't imagine it would be any fun trying to control one in the wind. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted November 23, 2015 Super User Posted November 23, 2015 I agree with Blue. $1600 for a round piece of mold... I get the idea, and it seems to be pretty versatile, but in Kansas that thing would be all over the lake/refuge. Quote
Super User Goose52 Posted November 23, 2015 Super User Posted November 23, 2015 I'll have to admit that I haven't read the "advertising copy" on that boat to learn what the claimed benefits are...but from the photos it just looks like an "answer to a question that no one asked"... 1 Quote
WPCfishing Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 I could see buying it if it could fly like the one's they have on Mars. Quote

Ohio Archer Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Looks like they would be ideal for those small ponds and rivers with no ramps or easy access. Not so sure on larger waters with other boats zipping around. A small wind anchor or rudder would keep it from being blown around like a top if it was windy. Quote
