JSchwartzy Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Just a little something I came up with while at work, feel free to share. Looking back several years ago this would have been very helpful for a young starting out me. Not sure if anyone has ever made one of these on here but I have never seen one. Enjoy! 16 1 Quote

ClackerBuzz Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Awesome now I have something official to hand people when they say: "Why do you need more than one rod?" 1 Quote
Super User DogBone_384 Posted November 20, 2015 Super User Posted November 20, 2015 Thanks a million. It's printed & laminated. Since you did it @ work, does your boss fish? 1 Quote
Robeng Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Wow. Very nice. Copied n laminated. Might make a good stocking stuffer! Thank you. Quote
JSchwartzy Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 Thank you all for the kind words. The other stuff isn't included because up North they aren't something I really ever fish. And I don't believe my boss is a fisherman but he always seems interested in my lunch break exploits hunting big smallmouth. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted November 20, 2015 Global Moderator Posted November 20, 2015 Well Done... Mike Quote
Scarborough817 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 am i the only one that thought finesse rigs were supposed to be thrown on fluro? Quote
JSchwartzy Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 I have added a couple things made some changes. Swimbaits are on there now but only after some research done on the interwebs. If there is anything else that I can add please let me know! Joe 1 Quote
JSchwartzy Posted November 20, 2015 Author Posted November 20, 2015 I run all my finesse stuff on braid with a fluoro leader...I have had one too many costly experiences with fluoro as my main line...thus the disclaimer haha 1 Quote
Scarborough817 Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 i clearly need to pay attention more since i didn't even notice the leader Quote
wisconsin heat Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 Nice, looks super solid, good reference sheet for new guys and gals looking for a new rod. Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted November 20, 2015 Super User Posted November 20, 2015 Nicely done! I give you props for your effort. It gives people a general starting point if they're looking for something in particular. One thing about fishing though, is everyone is a little different and might like something different for a particular technique. Like I said though, I like this as it gives someone a great starting point. Quote
Mumbly Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Thank you Joe. I really appreciate your efforts. Quote
atcoha Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 nice post, great info. Much appreciated. Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted November 22, 2015 Super User Posted November 22, 2015 Nice list, the rod setup will be beneficial for me. I have tried a couple of fluoros on a baitcaster and they either don't cast at all or are well short distance wise of what I can get with braid so I stick with that sometimes adding a fluoro leader if I can't get bit at all. Thanks for putting it together. Quote
