They had the flipping stick up for $80 but it sold out quick. Free shipping on orders over $50 too. Crazy good deal IMHO. 1 Quote
5fishlimit Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 That is a great price! Dollar for dollar, at $79.99, I don't think there's a better rod out there. Quote

Super User new2BC4bass Posted November 17, 2015 Super User Posted November 17, 2015 Wow. Super deal. Got a couple, but not the 7'1" MH-XF. Hopefully they sell out before I break down and order one. Quote

Super User webertime Posted November 18, 2015 Super User Posted November 18, 2015 Just the 7ft M Regular left... Quote
punch Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Glad you guys could grab a few. I snagged the 7'6" H flippin stick and the 7'1" MH. Basically a 2 for 1. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted November 18, 2015 Super User Posted November 18, 2015 Just the 7ft M Regular left... For those interested it might be labeled as a medium, but it's a medium heavy. Lure ratings are up to 3/4 which is typical mh ratings. I had this rod for a short time. It definitely fishes like mh rod. Makes for a decent plastics rod. Just a heads for anyone thinking about grabbing one. Quote
bholtzinger14 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Dang. I grabbed a medium hoping it was a medium. Lol Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted November 18, 2015 Super User Posted November 18, 2015 Dang. I grabbed a medium hoping it was a medium. Lol Same here when I ordered mine. I have a lot of mh rods already so I didn't need another. I sold it to my friend. He enjoys it though. Quote

Im sure I can find a use for it. I only have one MH rod right now. What do you think it would be good for? Quote
5fishlimit Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I've been using the 7" med/regular as a lipless crankbait rod, and it's fantastic for that. Quote
bholtzinger14 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 i want to try throwing the Keitech swim baits. Would it be good for the bigger soft swim baits? The 4.8 fat swing impacts. Quote

You're set then. A mh is a very versatile rod. That's why most of us have multiples of them. MH is a good all purpose rod. I use my mh rods for a touch of everything. Plastics, jigs, lipless cranks, squarebills, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits. Yes, it would work great for a 4.8 fat with a jig head or tx rig. Those baits are pretty heavy alone. Quote

Smokinstang68 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Got my 2 rods in today. Too bad Cabela's uses cardboard tubes. My tube was tore all to crap, but luckily, the rods were ok. I made the UPS driver stand beside me as I opened it, just in case. Quote
