Bigchunk Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 A lake i fish has some great ledges along spawning flats, 17' up to about 4-8' depending. i know its a long way away, but im wondering if when bass are eating jerkbaits, will dds work on them as well if worked properly? Quote
papajoe222 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I'm a little confused with the topic as how it relates to your question. If you're asking if cranking that ledge when water temps are below 40 is an option, I'd attempt to discourage you even if they are suspending baits. If you're asking if you could use them instead of jerkbaits for pre-spawn conditions then the answer is a big yes. In fact, the closer it gets to spawning, they'd get the nod over the jerkbaits in my book. Quote
Bigchunk Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 Yea sorry forgot to be more specific, by when they are eating jerkbaits i mean ice out til pre spawn for myself. If that clears things up Quote
