tander Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 My name is Tom and I live outside of the Jackson area and fish the Ross Barnett Reservoir. I just started back fishing this year after not fishing for 12 years. I told my wife when I retired I was going to buy me another bass boat and start back fishing. Well I did just that but waited two years after retirement. I fished a bunch in the 80's and 90's, if fact, that about all I did besides work. I can tell you tackle sure has changed, I guess I got sticker shock looking to buy new tackle. After trying some new Lew's reels, I had to replace my old ones, the newer one are so much better. Also there are new techniques that I never knew of just as the Ned Rig. Well thanks to this forum I am catching up to new equipment and techniques. Well got to load up and go fishing, thanks to all for a great forum. Quote

Super User Sam Posted November 14, 2015 Super User Posted November 14, 2015 Hey Tom, great having you with us. Hope the Dogs can beat Bamasucs today. Would be really great for LSU since Bamasucs handed the Fighting Tigers their a$$es on a silver platter last week. Just take your cow bell with you when you go bass fishing and ring it every time you catch a bass. You will wear out that bell using the knowledge you will gain on this Forum. Good luck and welcome back into the bass fishing family. Geaux Tigers! Quote
