Vlad Val Yevdash Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 idk I've watched some YouTube videos and I kinda want to buy one Quote
Landis Carrier Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 I have one. Received it as a gift from my son last May. I use it in my kayak, I tie a little string to the top of it and the other end to a side handle on my Yak. I absolutely love it! The detail you get back from it it exceptional. You can see the bottom structures, rock, mud, weeds, picks up fish and shows sizes and battery life has not been an issue. I have been very impressed with it. The battery on the Deeper unit will outlast your phone battery....so I have a back up battery pack and also shut off all phone data to save the battery a bit.Has 2 different sonar bands that help you locate fish and structures then you can change it to get a more detailed look. And it stores a ton of data so you can check out where you went and areas you might want to go back to. Quote
Robert Riley Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I'm looking at getting one for my local ponds. I'm interested more in seeing the depths and contours than the actual fish. Quote
Onvacation Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I have one as well. I mostly used it in later winter on a heavy rod to toss it out and sort of map some local ponds. I have a local wildlife area that I fish and the rent Jon boats. I do the same thing as Landis Carrier. I made up a rig with a clamp on one end of some 550 cord that attaches to the boat, and an old metal stringer piece on the other end that attaches to the Deeper. Works very well. We did find that it works better with android better then with Apple, but I think they may have rectified those software issues. The app gives you lots of other off-line options as well such as a mall, history, and some other features. For one, I think you were the couple hundred dollars. My other choice would be guessing, or taking a whole lot of time to figure out each little body of water Quote

S. Sass Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I think someone has one for sale in the Flea Market here or did have. My mistake he just wants to trade only. Quote
