smr_hga Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I found this lure stuck on a rock in a stream in WV while trout fishing. I tried it and didn't catch any trout with it. When i got home i tried it at a pond here and caught nothing. It spins when i retrieve it but the fish don't seem to care... Here it is: Anyways. What is it and how do i use it? Quote

S. Sass Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Does it float? It looks like some kind of old school buzbait. 1 Quote

S. Sass Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I would agree with you except for the fact that it does not float Yeah was afraid of that, that is why I asked. And why I said it looks like. So is it wood? Are there any markings like a logo, part #, or a name on it? Quote

Are there any markings like a logo, part #, or a name on it? It is wood, and there are no signs of who made it. I've spent some time looking at antique lures online and it seems similar to some Devon lures i found. There were similar looking lures selling for like $150 so i'm getting a bit excited Quote
S. Sass Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 It does look very similar to the Devon lures I see pics of on line. Congrats if you scored a $150 lure that is awesome. 1 Quote
