Halloween Weekend: Be Cautious And Observant

Hey folks,

 

I heard a report on the news last night that a group has allegedly formed (can't recall the name)  that is basically against government, law enforcement, and whatever else they are mad about and have been encouraged to use these ideals as an excuse to be the thugs and cowards that they are. They are allegedly using Halloween as a cover to wear masks to hide their identity to perpetrate unlawful and potentially violent acts.

 

With that said, be watchful and observant this weekend and report any suspicious behavior or activities you witness. Also, keep your children close and your family safe. I don't know in depth details about this, only what I heard on the short news report. I do not want to create alarm when there shouldn't be. I just wanted to let everyone know to be extra careful and observant over the weekend, especially Saturday after dark.  Sorry to be a downer everyone, just reporting what I heard.

No one trick or treats anymore only family stops by. Well keep a head count on the family.

Friday night is mischievous night?

The country area is quiet. Why they all shoot 24/7. I call them northern rednecks. Or hicks, strange breed up here it's no place to upset the natives. I love the smell of gun power at 1am smells like freedom, victory.

I guess it's how this country was born on and survived.

When you get away into the rural areas this nation goes back in time to family values.

I feel bad for the kids. In the 70's we would go through 15+ bags of candy. At the new place nothing. No kids. Sad.

As a kid in north Jersey we would be out from after school to dark in the 50's. The only bad kids were my three older brothers. They looked out for everyone.

Last Halloween my dad was coming home from work and some random teenagers on the side of the road threw a rock through his window. Cost him like $200 to fix it. :/

You hear about this almost every year, pretty sad when you take your kids out to trick or treat, you have to be packin'.

We've been getting pretty steady updates about this group at work. It's a pretty serious threat and there's individual people in several major cities that have agreed to carry out violent acts. Obviously saying and doing are 2 different things, but it makes me glad we won't be out there with our son.
