Went and did some bank fishing with an angler friend this past Saturday. Had some nice scenery at a small resivoir you have to hike up to for a good ten minutes. He and I only managed to get one each, but it was good times. Caught this guy in the shallows on a Siebert swim jig in Sunfish with a Blue Craw Rage Chunk rigged sideways.

Ya, sometimes it's about the experience; not the catching. Today looks like one of those days.

Wow, just the hike up would be worth it, the fish was a bonus.

Beautiful. In my opinion, the fishing is primary; the catching is just gravy.

Awesome scenery! So many times the experience is primary and the catch is an added bonus! Man how I miss leaves on the trees already... haha

That's a plus living up North, the great scenery thru the seasons. Not so great when it gets colder, and the water is hard, but you get to catch up on your maintenance, and order all the cool stuff you get to use for next season.
