bknap Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Every winter I loosen up all of my drags in my reels. Well in the spring I went to use my Winch and set my drag but my A-rig would pull line out of my reel even with my drag set all the way. Is this something I can fix on my own or do I have to send it into Abu? Quote

desmobob Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 EVERY time I've panicked because this was happening on any reel (casting or spinning), it turned out to be the braid slipping. I feed out almost all the line behind the boat and reel it back in snugly and the problem is gone. Tight lines, Bob Quote
