I'm looking for a good St. Croix rod dealer here in Canada. There is only one dealer here in my city. I tried to get a price on two rods(Cdn.$) and was told that I'd get a price as soon as I ordered the rods... "What?!  You can't be serious?." He was. Bass fishing isn't big here on the westcoast and probably a dealer in Ontario would be the way to go. Any help would be much appreciated.

I live in SW Ontario and have purchased several St. Croix over the last few years from local dealers.  PM me with the model(s) you are interested in and I'll check when I'm at one of these stores for stock.

Here are some that come to mind:

Independent shops:

Natural Sports (Kitchener)

Fishing World (Hamilton)

Pro Tackle (Belleville)

Big box store:

Sail (they have several in southern ontario)

Bass Pro (north toronto)

Cabelas (Barrie).

If you live in British Columbia, Bass Pro Shops and Cabelas are opening stores in the lower mainland next year.

Your other option would be to call up St. Croix directly and get a price from them. I'm sure they could tell you what it'd be. Depending what you're after, they might even have them on sale there at the shop and it's possible to get a discount.

If you live in S. Ontario, JB's fishing depot has a big selection. Make sure you call before you go, their website is a bit out of date.
