BassnChris Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 We live in a dangerous world. Thoughts & Prayers go out to this man's wife & children. x2.....I just have nothing else to say that is constructive on this issue. Quote
stkbassn Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Wow. This is heartbreaking! My prayers go out to that family. So very sad. We just aren't safe anywhere in the this world we live in now. You can't go to work, the movies, the mall, to church! ...young kids can't go to school or walk down the street unsupervised, young people can't go to college without fear...Police officers can't go out and do their job without worrying if they'll make it home to see their family and they have to think of this every day...Anglers can't even go fishing without worrying about being robbed or worse. Makes me sick. Quote
Super User HoosierHawgs Posted October 23, 2015 Super User Posted October 23, 2015 Trying times we live in now, can't even step outside without being attacked. I would like to take a moment to thank our public servants including police, fireman, EMTs, as well as former and active military for dedicating themselves to keeping us safe. 2 Quote

Super User bigbill Posted October 23, 2015 Super User Posted October 23, 2015 May God take you on his bass fishing team Gregg. RIP. I'm fishing in the dark alone but my buddy with his Freinds are protecting me. They don't like me being interrupted when I'm fishing. Fight crime shoot back. 1 Quote

Super User Sam Posted October 24, 2015 Super User Posted October 24, 2015 Awful situation. And we place ourselves in these situations all the time when we launch at dawn or trailer at dusk. Another reason to be armed while on the water. My sincere condolences and prayers to the family for a senseless and cowardly crime. 2 Quote

Super User bigbill Posted October 24, 2015 Super User Posted October 24, 2015 How soon everyone forgets the night fisherman in Boston being stabbed to death with his own knife. About two to three decades ago. After reading about these senseless murders we think about the copycats. I carried a 1911 with 8 mags on me with a box of ammo in the car right after Boston happened when night fishing. Never fish alone. I think if anything will ever happen it would be at an ATM. I don't use ATM's. Nothing is safe anymore. Quote
