x2.....I just have nothing else to say that is constructive on this issue.

Wow. This is heartbreaking! My prayers go out to that family. So very sad.

We just aren't safe anywhere in the this world we live in now. You can't go to work, the movies, the mall, to church! ...young kids can't go to school or walk down the street unsupervised, young people can't go to college without fear...Police officers can't go out and do their job without worrying if they'll make it home to see their family and they have to think of this every day...Anglers can't even go fishing without worrying about being robbed or worse.  Makes me sick.

Trying times we live in now, can't even step outside without being attacked. I would like to take a moment to thank our public servants including police, fireman, EMTs, as well as former and active military for dedicating themselves to keeping us safe.

Horrible. Makes me unbelievably angry that people are capable of this. Yet they are. God bless him and his family.

May God take you on his bass fishing team Gregg. RIP.

I'm fishing in the dark alone but my buddy with his Freinds are protecting me. They don't like me being interrupted when I'm fishing.

Fight crime shoot back.

It happened about sixty miles from where I live. I will try and keep up with it and post any new info. Like you, I am angered as well as saddened by this senseless cowardly act.

Let us know if a Go Fund Me is set up to help this young mans family.

Very sad when you can't be safe enjoying a fishing outing.

Such a senseless act. I'm truly at a loss for words.

I'd also like to know about any updates as far as law enforcement catching the coward who did this, or ways to help his family.

Awful situation.

And we place ourselves in these situations all the time when we launch at dawn or trailer at dusk.

Another reason to be armed while on the water.

My sincere condolences and prayers to the family for a senseless and cowardly crime.

Very sad, sounds like he was/is a man of God and with that he is on a huge lake with nothing but 15lb+ bass right now. May his family & friends find peace in God in these trying times.

How soon everyone forgets the night fisherman in Boston being stabbed to death with his own knife. About two to three decades ago. After reading about these senseless murders we think about the copycats.

I carried a 1911 with 8 mags on me with a box of ammo in the car right after Boston happened when night fishing. Never fish alone.

I think if anything will ever happen it would be at an ATM.

I don't use ATM's. Nothing is safe anymore.

Anytime I use an ATM I'm always keep a watchful eye. Having situational awareness is very helpful in keeping you and others safe.
