How's it going guys I'm from Louisiana but I'm in Connecticut for a couple months. I'm used to fishing ponds and lakes out of my boat. Since I've been here I've only been able to do some fishing from shore and kayaks at the state park around here. Miss my boat and my poles. Hope to get to meet some of y'all around here

Connecticut? Who ever goes to Connecticut?

Especially someone from the great state of Louisiana with all of the food, football, hunting, fishing, parties, Mardi Gras, LSU, warm weather, hurricanes, etc.

But there you are, in Connecticut where they think 10-feet of snow is normal.

Welcome to the Forum. We can give you help even in Connecticut.

Just go fishing now for in four weeks you will be covered in snow and ice.

And you can see the LSU games on TV which will give you some sense of "normal" as you freeze your fanny off and hear wonderful ice fishing stories.

Who in their right mind would want to go ice fishing anyway?

Welcome to the Forum.

Stay warm.
