Looking at Silver Hawk rods in Cabela's. Torn between a 6'6" ML and a 7' M. They will be for general finesse. Drop shot, shakey head, weightless worms with 7-8# Sniper FC. Which one would you get? I can only buy one.

I have the 7ft ML spinning and I love it for drop shop and Spybaits.  I throw it with a 1000 Saros and 6lb Inviszx.  Nice comfortable rod with good sensitivity for the $.  Compared to other $100 rods it's right there with the best...  At $60, it's a no brainer.

Just bought a 7' Medium. Decided I needed a little extra power. 60 bucks was a great deal for sure.

They are made exclusively for Cabelas by Fenwick. You'll never find a rod with Alconite guides for $60 anywhere unless it is used.

My rod arsenal is almost all Fenwick and I've got 3 different Silverhawks. LOVE THEM.

I've got one that is a 7' ML Fast action rod I pair with a Pflueger Supreme. I use it for dropshot, weightless T rigged plastics, and light grub/swimbaits.

It's probably my favorite setup. Go get yourself one!

You'll be glad you bought the longer rod for those applications. You can't go wrong with a Fenwick, either. I lov all three of mine.

I was at Cabela's today, the Silver Hawk I handled was an

excellent rod. Lite, well balanced, ACS reel seat and quality guides.

Just a very nice rod on sale for 60 bucks. If they had a

7' heavy I'd have bought it.

I have a 7' M/F casting Silver Hawk.  It's light and has a superb fit & finish. It's not as sensitive as my ***, Kistler, or Abu Villain, but it's not terribly far off either.

As an 'every day' rod it's great, especially at Cabela's current price.
