If you guys have a 1 piece 7ft rod and don't have a sedan like a honda accord, does it fit if you put the seat in the trunk down? How do you guys carry your rods around in a sedan or hatchback?

If you have the pass through back seats use that opening, or if you can fold your rear seat down then that is also a good option.  If neither of those work for you then try reclining the passenger seat all the way down, and put the butt end of your rod at the passenger floor and the tips facing the back window.  I can easily fit a 7'6" rod in my car that way.

There isn't a high strength light weight rod blank on the planet that can be abused. It's your rod treat it like the investment it is, with care.

Hey I just got my lews bait casting reel and when I turn the reel, the line guide in the front won't move. Is there something I'm missing? No line on it yet.

So when you turn the handle it isn't moving back and forth from right to left like it's supposed to? The first Lews I ever got came with that problem. I ended up mailing it to them to fix.

For the better part of my life the only vehicle I owned was a VW Beetle, not the NEW Beetle but the OLD Beetle, like this one:

I carried my rods between the driver´s and the companion´s seats, no problem at all, perhaps it was a little bit uncomfortable for the passengers seating in the rear but we managed to travel many many miles to many many places for many many years.

Tighten the drag up and see if it starts moving
