Hello everyone!

:hi:

New here from Berkeley, CA but not new to fishing. I have been fishing since I was a kid but have recently started it back up the last few years. I usually fish for stripers and sturgeon from shore. I have been fishing for LMB before but from a friends boat. But we have lost contact and I stopped chasing after LMB. Now I am trying to get back into the game and start working the shores until I can convince my girlfriend to let me buy a boat and truck or just a hobie kayak :hahaha-024: . Until then I am currently setup with one rod a *** Black gen2 7'3" MH Fast paired with a Shimano Curado I 201HG spooled with 50lbs samurai braid. I add a top shot of 10lbs FC for drop shot rigs. I am now trying to figure out what to pack into my new Umpqua Sling Pack. Which is AWSOME. I prefer it over a backpack since it will make me be more selective. I learned to throw nothing but senkos and brush hogs into deep cover. But now I am starting to venture out more.

I took my first trip last week. I stopped by Coyote Bait and Tackle (awesome people, very helpful) to pick up some final gear and tips. They are the only place I have found in the bay area to carry the *** Black Gen2. I went to the spot they recommended. I was able to catch three 1-2 lbers on a lip less crankbait (which I lost  :wink2: ) and lost one on a spinner bait. Not bad for a first time out in a long time. I will be asking a lot of questions. So Thanks in advance! Like this one. Does any shore angler carry multiple rods? For example a extra telescopic rod for drop shot rigs. I get tired of retying my lures.
