Rick Howard Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Nice. It has been windy as heck here. I finally got my wish for a calm morning but... its snowing. I will work today so that I can fish when it warms up this week. 1 Quote

Rick Howard Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I am not either. We are suppose to have some days in the 60's this week. I plan to take full advantage as we probably will not see the sun again until spring lol. 1 Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted October 18, 2015 Super User Posted October 18, 2015 Did you catch that fish on a 7" PowerWorm? That's a nice one! 1 Quote
NEjitterbugger Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Yesss it is getting cold.. Glad to see it isn't keeping you off the water though, it pays off! 1 Quote

Fisher-O-men Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 Very nice! I can see why you look so happy! It will likely not get that cold here all winter. Supposed to be 95 on Friday. 1 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 19, 2015 Super User Posted October 19, 2015 A nice bass will warm you right up. Way to deal with the cold. Quote

Fisher-O-men Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Lucky Yep, and yet we find things to complain about; Small lakes, high fishing prices, low water levels, heavy fishing pressure. 1 Quote

desmobob Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Nice fish, Hootie! That's about the same kind of weather we're having where I live, too. Saw the first snow flurries on Sunday. :-( Tight lines, Bob 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted October 20, 2015 Global Moderator Posted October 20, 2015 Every time Hootie post a picture of him with a fish I think of this. Great fish Hootie! I'd deal with those temps if we could get that wind. 60's don't do much good with the 40mph straight winds we had yesterday. 1 Quote
Western-Mass-Bass Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Hey Hootie, Did he blast that bait hard? How was the bite in that weather. Nice fish man Quote
Super User *Hootie Posted October 21, 2015 Author Super User Posted October 21, 2015 Hey Hootie, Did he blast that bait hard? How was the bite in that weather. Nice fish man An almost undetectable tap. More like a slight quivering of my line. If it had been windy, I likely would have missed it. Had to fish very slow. Couldn't get any response on any kind of reaction baits. Hootie 1 Quote
