So i just bought a camera....  somewhat on a whim, but not really.  i've been thinking about one for a while now and just haven't pulled the trigger because it's just one more thing to set up on the kayak before i take off....

but i was browsing around academy sports, known for some just stupid deals sometimes, when i found a garmin virb elite.

i know i've seen Glenn talk about using them with ease and bluebasser talked of the same.  let's hope so for my sake!

now to figure out the best way to rig this thing up on my kayak.....  oh and i guess buy an SD card too!

Make sure to download the App for your smartphone so you can run it from your phone, or get the remote wristwatch like I use. They are very easy to use, if you want to hear much of what you're saying you'll want an external mic, they don't seem to pick up sound real well but the less you hear me cussing the better.
