Joedodge Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 What are y'all using for a all around morning afternoon and evening? Low light or sunny? What are you throwing as a universal go to Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted October 9, 2015 Super User Posted October 9, 2015 just looking at their colors , i would get the Ghost shad color . should work for low light stained water and sunny clearer water conditions .. Quote
Joedodge Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Awesome thanks a lot for the reply I've been playing with the colors a lol bit and was curious on others input Quote
Joedodge Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 That's one of the colors I've been messing with that and redear seem to mimic bait fish in all conditions Quote
UKCATSBASSER Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Copperfield for sure. Search YouTube. Video where jt kenney basically says he only uses two or 3 colors. Copperfield is one. Quote
Joedodge Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Hmmmm may be sticking with copper field then lol Quote
Joedodge Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 So you fish white all the time? How well does it work out Quote
Joedodge Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 I've often considered fishing just white but wasn't sure about on low light days Quote
zachb34 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Florida five oh. It has black for the darker waters and watermelon for the more clear water. The red flakes really pop in the sunlight. Quote
Global Moderator Mike L Posted October 10, 2015 Global Moderator Posted October 10, 2015 I like the 49er or Ice Breaker. The lighter colored belly makes them look more like a shiner which is their food of choice down here. Mike Quote
JGBassinAL Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Not So Sexy and Phantom are my two favorites. Idk how you are fishing them but my favorite way is to rig it on a weightless swimbait hook in 7/0 and swim it really fast on top of the water. There are some awesome strikes when fished this way. davecon Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I notice you're in Clearwater. Whatever you do, DO NOT, I repeat , DO NOT use those things for snook. Could end your bass fishing. Quote
RyneB Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I'm a Copperfield guy. Followed by Lane toad and Florida five 0 Quote
