AVIDBF2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Whats up fellas! Just moved from the other coast of Florida. I currently live on a community association area with great bass fishing in Estero. How ever, I am looking for places around Naples-Estero-Fort Myers that offer other great Bass fishing. Here is what I currently know. 1) Eliminate the clubs and golf courses that is gated - etc. - this is a no brainer and they're great, just besides these! 2) Ten Mile Canal - Fort Myers - Anyone ever go here? How is it since the sewage leak? 3) Golden Gate Canal - but how is it for shore line bass fishing? I heard peacocks are growing in there. 4) Estero and Imperial River 0 great brackish water. Thats about all I can think about for Bass. But does anyone here know where else I can cast around here from shore? Any info appreciated!!! Quote
AVIDBF2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Got any areas around there that might be worth investigating?! Quote
VolFan Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 My in laws have a place right around the corner from the Estero River. It's a great fishery for brackish species and nuclear panfish (cichlids). My advice would be rent a kayak and fish a day that way, keeping an eye out for productive spots you can come back yo on shore. Quote
AVIDBF2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Author Posted October 12, 2015 That is a plan soon. Along the Estero River. Quote
