Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Just a few hours from first pitch of Cards at Cubs game 3! Sooo excited, this is gonna be a good one! Go Cubs Go! Quote
cbass12 Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 What a roller coaster of a game!!!!!!!! Our guys never quit!! One more to get at home tomorrow. Like gardnerjigman said that place will be rocking! Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Houston is a very good team, but KC showed why they were the best in the AL this season. Great teams find a way to win. I am counting on the Cards to do the same tonight. The Cubs are already counting the win...we will see! Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Who saw Chase Utley's "slide"? That was the most Busch League thing I've ever seen. No, of course Utley wasn't trying to hurt Tejada. But as a veteran and a 2nd baseman himself, that was so utterly ridiculous and uncalled for. Now he has the nerve at appeal the suspension. If you ask me, this is a big ugly stain on Utley's otherwise awesome career. Quote

If you ask me, this is a big ugly stain on Utley's otherwise awesome career. I saw it. Utley has been doing this sort of thing his entire career. I don't think he was intentionally trying to hurt anyone, but his only concern was taking out the second baseman and if he was hurt, so be it. He has always been a dirty player IMO, and ending his career this way seems about right to me. I do think it will change the way taking a player out is allowed, and that is a good thing. 1 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Arrieta has so much swagger right now. His expressions and body language just says "I am the best, and you're not gonna hit this. But you can try." 1 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Not a fan of either team, but I LOVE watching Cubs-Cards baseball. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Wrigley is one loud ballpark right now! So much energy! Quote

Super User Jar11591 Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 Yeah somethings up, arietta isn't arietta right now. He did a good job limiting the damage, but yeah he ins't quite the same as he has been. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 He did a good job limiting the damage, but yeah he ins't quite the same as he has been. The Cards have played well against him all year. As good as he is, Superman he ain't! He is a beast though. This game is a long way from over... 1 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 I am not loving this! Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 12, 2015 Super User Posted October 12, 2015 TBS is soooo bad at broadcasting games... The technical glitches, the names mismatches, the bad announcers, its all bad. Quote

Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 13, 2015 Super User Posted October 13, 2015 Yeesh, we gave up way too many runs that game... Good thing our batters were on fire. Go Cubs Go! Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 13, 2015 Super User Posted October 13, 2015 Wow, I'm surprised lackey got so ticked off about that bad inning... I'm sure you can't be happy about that but he was on tilt... Quote

Super User K_Mac Posted October 13, 2015 Super User Posted October 13, 2015 Lackey's always been a bit of a hot head. Yep. That's just who he is. He usually gets the job done. That covers a lot of sins. He and Molina almost came to blows in the dugout during a game this season, and no one messes with Yadi! He really pitched well today-with two bad pitches. The Cubs made us pay both times. It is not over yet though. 1 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 13, 2015 Super User Posted October 13, 2015 Congratulations Cubs. We were the best team in baseball all year; you're the best right now! I hope you bring the championship to Chicago. Good luck. 3 Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 14, 2015 Super User Posted October 14, 2015 Yeesh that was a nail biter.... The Cardinals poured everything they had on that feild, great series! I'm sooo happy right now! Now the mets need to put away the dodgers so we can play them, I feel the cubs have a better shot against the mets than the dodgers. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted October 14, 2015 Super User Posted October 14, 2015 Happy to see the Cubs move on. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 14, 2015 Super User Posted October 14, 2015 C and G I think the Cubs and Mets will be a great series. Of course, there is not a team in baseball that I wouldn't cheer for against the Dodgers. 1 Quote
