OzarkArkBassFisher97 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Hi, I'm new to the site and this will be my first post any and all info would be great and thanks anhead of time. I live in Harrison (25 miles south on 65 from Branson for those of you who don't know) the surrounding area is dominated by the white river and buffalo river and creeks and streams that fork off of both. All of these options contain mainly trout and smallmouth I have no care to trout fish and have never been very interested in smallmouth. I know Bull Shoals is close but I don't know much bank fishing areas on the lake and have never found much luck in the areas I do know about I would love any tips or locations to help me find largemouth in the vicinity. Man, I'll trade you all kinds of good bank fishing for largemouth around here to have some of those river smallies down around that area. Big lakes like Bull Shoals are tough enough from a boat, almost impossible from the bank. Doesn't seem to be a lot of water down there other than the big lakes and small rivers either. Might be time to start looking at a kayak or maybe put a post out to see if anyone would be willing to take you out in their boat. Lots of guys willing to have someone else in the boat if they'll help with gas, loading and unloading. 1 Quote
OzarkArkBassFisher97 Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 As a culture I think we tend to enjoy the things we were kept from the most. Largemouth fishing is that for me. And if I could find someone with a boat I would lol. Quote

There's some guys from Arkansas on the board, you might put another post that you're willing to split cost in exchange for getting to fish out of a boat. I know in the KC Area thread there's always guys looking for a boater/nonboater for a day on the water to help save on cost. Quote
