stkbassn Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I have a pink I-Slide 185 on the way from Japan. I used to catch a lot of fish on the pink floating worms. The 185 should be easy to see for sure!! LOL 1 Quote
RB 77 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Love me some translucent pink worms for the finesse game! Quote
Jaw1 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Used to throw pink x-raps and bandit crankbaits at a local lake and caught quite a few fish with them so rattle traps are no suprise. Quote
Felixone Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I don't want the males to hit, I want the BIG MOMMAS! Pink is traditionally known as a "feminine" color, so why not? And like Raul, when I'm in the sporting goods store, I'll ask for "bubblegum" color. ;-) Tight lines, Bob Depending on your meaning for traditional this isn't exactly true. Pink "originally" didn't have any gender ties. It was in the early 1900's that people started associating colors with genders. At that point they were pushing blue for girls and pink for boys. Here is a link that discusses it: http://www.npr.org/2014/04/01/297159948/girls-are-taught-to-think-pink-but-that-wasnt-always-so Quote

Super User bigbill Posted October 8, 2015 Super User Posted October 8, 2015 During a bass feeding frenzy full moon with a front(rain) I caught 19 bass skip fan casting the area. I also caught two pink n white looking sunfish, weird. I had custom made crankbaits in that color. They were big and two toned. Someone released there pet. Quote
WPCfishing Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Pink tubes work for me when the bite is tough so why not. Sorry bubblegum. If you fish where the fish are you have a better chance of them hitting any color combination. I have caught all of my 13lb. Bass on a pink hulla popper dropshotted in 30 feet of water. Dang it! I almost got through it! The recent LTB had a bag of Hot Pick and white tubes in it. When I saw them I though to my self.... Where the heck am I going to use these? The answer was simple.. I won't... garvin Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 I think "bubble gum" still sounds too squirrely girly. I think pink plastics should be called "Gorilla Tongue" instead. 4 Quote
