Aldo Rosado Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 During my years of Bass fishing, I discovered by painting the Rattle Trap entirely Pink hooks and all that Hog Bass are attracted to that. They love pink and I caught plenty of Bass with it. I also have caught 13 lb. Bass on solid Purple Traps. I love experimenting because Bass virtually hit anything, but sometimes they prefer your new development. 1 Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted October 5, 2015 Super User Posted October 5, 2015 IBTL haha just kidding, I had a pink rattletrap that I caught a handful of bass on but Mr. Chainpickerel stole it from me... 3 Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted October 5, 2015 Super User Posted October 5, 2015 I've never used one but hey: pink super flukes and trick worms are great, why not Rat'LTraps? 1 Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 5, 2015 Super User Posted October 5, 2015 Let me say that there's no such thing as "pink" in bass fishing, the correct term is ------> bubblegum. 20 Quote
James Pondscum Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I bet all the male BASS hit on them. 2 Quote
Super User Raul Posted October 5, 2015 Super User Posted October 5, 2015 I bet all the male BASS hit on them. No self respecting male bass is gonna hit a girly colored bait. Quote
chadmack282 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 No self respecting male bass is gonna hit a girly colored bait. Hey I love the Pink!! 3 Quote
desmobob Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I bet all the male BASS hit on them. I don't want the males to hit, I want the BIG MOMMAS! Pink is traditionally known as a "feminine" color, so why not? And like Raul, when I'm in the sporting goods store, I'll ask for "bubblegum" color. ;-) Tight lines, Bob 1 Quote
bassguytom Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 Pink tubes work for me when the bite is tough so why not. Sorry bubblegum. If you fish where the fish are you have a better chance of them hitting any color combination. I have caught all of my 13lb. Bass on a pink hulla popper dropshotted in 30 feet of water. Dang it! I almost got through it! 1 Quote
FinCulture Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Am I the only one here who knows enough Spanish to know that "Rosado" is pink in Spanish, therefore meaning our dear Aldo has quite the eye for irony. 6 Quote

I doubt you know more Spanish than I do. Rosa is the appropiate translation for pink, the appropiate transaltion for rosado is pinkish or pink tint, of course, if you change just one letter, z instead of s you en up with something quite different, rozado may mean rubbed or skin burned, so it's Mr. Aldo Diaper Buttskinburn for all you bunch of ignorant rednecks ( myself included in that charmin group of people ) 4 Quote

Super User Ratherbfishing Posted October 6, 2015 Super User Posted October 6, 2015 The big bass-the ones that like to overindulge-are looking for some relief in the form of pepto-bismol. THAT is why pink works. 1 Quote
