I took apart my CTE-400 to change the left side plate, and the Click Switch Cam (part #BTN2721) and Click Switch Spring (part #BTN2723) popped out, and I'm not too sure how it goes back together. Can someone post a tutorial on how to reassemble it?  Also, how does the Cam Backing Plate (part #BTN2688) sit? Is it necessary?

I've been looking, but with no such luck. I eventually figured it out on my own.

I rebuilt it myself, but it's not very loud. I'm gonna go ahead and send it to Shimano to have them work on it. There's also a few tweaks I'd like for them to do, as well.

The cam backing plate is required for the reel to work properly. If you'd like anything above and beyond what Shimano offers (super tune, drag upgrade etc) or just a once over I'll be glad to help. If you send reels in include your screen name and I apply a 10% member discount on labor.
