1bad281 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I took a fishing trip to Okoboji, IA. Weds. through Sat. Even though the only thing I caught in Okoboji west was a few pike. We also fished a lake just south of Spirit Lake. I didn't get any measurements off this guy because when I got him in the net he went crazy and got the lure tangled in the net. This is definitely a pb for me. I wanted to take a pic and get this guy back in the water as soon as possible. Maybe if someone on here can give me a guesstimate on what he could have weighed. I also caught my first ever small mouth on Spirit Lake. I guess you can say this is a pb also. I caught him while fishing the docks using a spinner with a white trailer(fishing for largemouth) my first year of fishing I would say is a success James 2 Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted October 4, 2015 Super User Posted October 4, 2015 Congrats on your new PB's. The only way to know what they weigh is to buy a scale other wise you are just guessing. Quote
jbw252 Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Congrats on the PB. Hopefully, many more to come. Quote

Turtle135 Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 congrats on the double PB! that is a rare accomplishment (I would also guess around 3 pounds for the largemouth, pushing towards 2 pounds on the smallie) Quote
