miamilakesbasser Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Hey everyone just wanted to introduce myself since i just started freshwater fishing last week. Bought an abu garcia blackmax combo and started fishing. So far my luck has been ok catching a few small large mouths yesterday at tropical park in south miami hoping to get out to more of the lakes and canals soon. Whats everyones opinions on the zoom flukes in both 3-1/2 inch and the 5 inch versions? Quote
BaitMonkey1984 Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Flukes are great baits because they are so versatile. I still keep a full array of sizes and colors of these baits available at all times. My favorite way to use these baits are on weightless on and EWG hook and jerk it over the top of weeds or rig it on a keel weighted swim belly hook. Good luck. Quote
Super User geo g Posted October 3, 2015 Super User Posted October 3, 2015 Welcome to the site. Fluke is a good choice, especially watermelon red, watermelon seed. Good luck and let us know how you do. Quote

There are some ok sized fish in there. Zooms work well, they are a good bait to have in your arsenal for sure. I prefer the 5 inch versions. Ive caught a bunch of fish at Tropical on the flukes in Baby Bass color. Quote
