I love them. Like all rage products they have ridiculous action. Best as a Carolina rig bait. I've used them as a sort of topwater/just below surface bait as well. Then slow retrieves work great for them too.

I like to use them on a Jika Rig with a 3/8 weight and a 5/0 hook around rip rap and brush. I also like to throw them weightless or rage rigged after a frog blow up.

I most often run them Texas rigged, they work great - they have accounted for hundreds of bass and pike over the last few seasons, a ton of pike and more than a few musky...up to 48".

Very versatile bait, can be fished a lot of different ways and will produce fish in most of them.

I even caught a 26 1/2" walleye on one back in June.

They are one of my go-to baits.

I've got some but haven't used them. They look like they'd be great to drag around on a swinging jighead.

Yup.

With that set-up, I'll get them into cover...hop them a few times like a craw...then retrieve back to the boat.  I'll often pick up fish on the retrieve back to the baot - this seems to be where the pike and musky like to kill them...they just hate the things...

Good stuff, I'll go ahead and have to grab a pack. Other than Texas rigging, I had figured rage rigging it around laydowns and buzzing it on top through grass like a pit boss could be productive so I'm glad to see that's worked for yall.

I've tried them once, and like them. I have yet to catch a bass on one, though.

The only wrong way to fish it is not to fish it!

Thats the one bait in the lineup Ive never gotten a bite on. Always felt there was a better option for a given situation. Clearly folks catch fish on em.

^^ This ^^

It's one of my favorite baits.  Seems a lot of anglers shy away from it, so bass don't see it as often as other baits.  That means more bites.  :)

You're not the only one who doesn't catch fish on them...I fished with a guy this summer...I was catching fish all day, he finally got tired of it and rigged one up...nothing...and I continued to catch them...I have no idea what he was doing wrong...

Good baits, especially T-rigged with heavier weights (3/8+). Tons of action, and very few bites from dinks. Nice presentation for above-average sized bass.
