Neil McCauley Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 Any favorite techniques or tips for catching big Northerns this time of year? Quote
Klebs01 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Spinnerbaits. Been catching some decent ones lately and a nice musky. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted September 25, 2015 Super User Posted September 25, 2015 I purchased some pike & muskies very large spinnerbaits. Do you add a trailer? Have you used the mister twister super top props? Do you use a inshore spinning outfit? Quote
Neil McCauley Posted September 30, 2015 Author Posted September 30, 2015 It's tough to find spinnerbaits and inline spinners in stores big enough. For spinners I might just get a Musky Double Cowgirl off amazon, I think it does have a trailer. I'll have to check out the mister twister.Anyone know of a X-large spinnerbait recommended for pike? I use pretty light tackle...medium power 6'6" spinning with 14lb fluoro and a 30lb steel leader. Just my heaviest bass rod. Quote
