Does anyone know the retreive rate in inches per turn on one of these? I came acrossed a new one for free. But they are discontinued and I can't seem to find any info.

Measure the filled spool diameter, multiply by 3.1416 to get the circumference, then by the gear ratio to get how many inches of circumference goes by with one revolution of the handle.  .  If it's an old one, most likely a 5.1 ratio, but I think the ratios are marked on the reels.

Or, fill it with line and measure how much line comes in with one revolution of the handle.

Recollection is 5.8 and roughly 22 IPT.   I use one that is 20 years old.   It is a bit scuffed, but works like new.  Amazing reels.

Yelp! I got two 100As, same gear ratio 5.8:1 ;)

Thank guys. It's was a great find and I can't wait to fish it! My 200 d is 25 ipt and I use it for multiple techniques. I love the round reels. I appreciate the info!

I have a couple of the newer Calcutta "B" series and they are 5.7:1. That's a great speed for many crankbaits, especially the larger deep divers.
