Used to live in Ken Acres. I think it was Cardinal Lane. This was back in the '70s, so it's probably all developed by now. Back then it was corn, tobacco and a lot of great places for a boy to be a boy. Quote

Ken Acres is where I grew up too...on Guist Creek Drive. It hasn't been developed as much as the rest of the county and there's still mostly corn and soybean fields. If you're ever down this way give me a shout and I'll take you out on Guist Creek! Quote
Steveo-1969 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Welcome to BR Greg! I live 12 hours away, but spend a week fishing KY Lake every summer. Can't wait for next year! 1 Quote
Ski213 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Welcome to the forums. Good to have another KY boy on here. Was up your way at Guist a couple weeks ago. Quote
Leonidas Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Greg, got to thinking about Ken Acres and spoke with some family. Turns out it was Rockbridge Rd. I remember. Had a little convenience store called Ralph's Market. We lived on the corner of Quail Call and Knob View. That market still there? Quote
