JDJ Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I landed a 4 lb lmb this past weekend on a spinnerbait, only to find out that I had foul-hooked her solidly just in front of the dorsal fin. Think she just missed the bite, was trying to swat it, or what? Quote
Bass newb Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 I've seen many a fish swim and displace a lure with a "swipe" by. Probably done out of curiosity. I would be happy to have a 4lb bass at tbe end of my line though...foul or not! Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted September 15, 2015 Super User Posted September 15, 2015 Id say it swiped at it. Would think it would be pretty hard to foul hook on a spinner bait if it didn't swipe at it. 1 Quote
Rhino68W Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Agree with the others, she would have to hit that thing pretty hard and at a strange angle. Either way good fish haha! Quote
Fisher-O-men Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Imagine your disappointment were that a world record bass. It happened! Dickerson / Dottie! Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted September 18, 2015 Super User Posted September 18, 2015 Might have just snagged her! Quote
