Super User roadwarrior Posted January 22, 2016 Super User Posted January 22, 2016 Yeah, I feel the same way about Tom Brady, but I won't be rooting for him this weekend! Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 22, 2016 Super User Posted January 22, 2016 Snow's going to make travel to the NFC Championship game part of the story for Players, Fans & Media alike. Charlotte Douglas International Airport in NC passed that today all scheduled operations have been canceled for American Airlines, Regionals, Delta, United, Southwest, Lufthansa, Air Canada, ViaAir and JetBlue. If you are a ticketed customer on another airline, you'll need to contact that airline before leaving for the Airport. Passengers are encouraged to remain at home if their flight has been canceled. Bummer. A-Jay 1 Quote
VolFan Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 That sucks! It's icy here in Charlotte right now, but nothing really paralyzing. Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted January 23, 2016 Super User Posted January 23, 2016 2 great games this weekend and whoever wins those games will make for a great Super Bowl. I think this year, heading into the Super Bowl, there is no clear cut favorite in my eyes. All 4 teams look impressive. Less than 24 hours left and I can't wait! Go Pats! 2 Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 OK, I am 8 for 8 up to this point. So here goes my pics for today's games: Carolina and New England. Even the snow can't stop Cam and Brady cheats better than old man Manning can play. What is going to be funny is that Denver will have better weather conditions than Charlotte. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 Game day fellas. . Go Denver, go Peyton!! 1 Quote

Super User gulfcaptain Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 New England over Denver by 10 with 2 picks coming from Maning trying to force the ball so he doesn't get knocked down. I don't think Denver can beat New England the way they played last week. They struggled against a banged up Pittsburg team , Carolina by 7. I like both teams, but last week I think they let off the gas against Seattle and played defensively and use the clock. They didn't try to force or make throws that would lead to turnovers that would assist Seattle in overcoming that 31 point butt kicking they took the first half. Going to be New England and Carolina in the Superbowl. 1 Quote

The only thing I will add is I have my fingers crossed......Being from an AFC city, I will root for the AFC team in the Super Bowl...How's that for a prediction... 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 As a life long New England Patriots fan, there is NO Doubt, I have been spoiled. Although there have been several long & dismal seasons back in the day, over the past decade plus, this team has been generally very competitive and fun to watch. This season is no exception. Looking forward to todays game and I'm hoping for a couple of things. First, that there is no controversial video reviews at all. Just straight forward plays. Second, Hope that there are no injures to either team. Clearly a lot to ask, but win or lose, I'd be nice to have the best players decide the outcome - not the back-ups and especially not the human in the video review booth. A-Jay Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 The key points for New England are quite simple: Protect Tom Brady and cover the middle on defense. For Denver, they must establish the run on offense. On defense they need to keep constant pressure on Brady and contain Gronkowski and Edelman. Quote

Super User F14A-B Posted January 24, 2016 Super User Posted January 24, 2016 Denver Broncos defense will overplay the first half & feel gassed in the 3 & 4th.. With Gronk & Edelman it's going to be a battle! Sure to be a great game.. Denver wins a tight game... Quote
